Body of God
In the Eden, God created a woman for Man and said they are not two but one. But Satan introduced immoral relationships and hence God said in the commandments not to commit adultery.
God said, Christ is the head and Church is the single body of that head. Again God said that the Church is the single bride for Jesus Christ. But Satan introduced multiple denominations and stating all are bridal churches and bringing immoralist thinking in the body of Christ. Now all denominations are fighting each other to prove themselves as the real bride. As a result, Satan could vain the great commandment of Jesus –
A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another
My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you
During the Old Testament period, Satan deceived people to worship idols and other gods, but today since majority know the life and purpose of Jesus Christ, many are coming under one God concept. So Satan is now deceiving people through denominations. When a newcomer wants to come inside a fellowship after knowing Jesus, the real challenge that Satan brought today is, confusing people which denomination to choose and every denomination tries to pull people from one to another demanding they are the real ones. If at all a person moves from one denomination to another, that person will be considered as cursed for those denominational people, from that day onwards.
The spirit of such splitting and confusions are not from God but from Satan. A product manual can only say something about a product but never can get you a product, likewise all denominations describe one God in different ways, but a religion cannot give you true living God.
The real body of Christ is the group of people who have Christ inside, they may not have a permanent labelled institutional church as a gathering. To them Jesus said –
For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them
Such people who have Christ inside are not abiding in any denominational churches, but they abide in Jesus Christ and they bear fruits of the Spirit always.
Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me
As an individual we are considered as one of the different parts of one body, so being part of the body of Christ is more important than being part of a denomination. Without being a part of His body, we can’t function as the desire to head the Christ. Only if we live as part of the body of Christ we could get active communication and instructions from the Head.
For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others
Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ
Another thing these denominational churches have today is the immense opportunities for studies, jobs and reputation through the institutions they have. So people are attracted towards these career opportunities instead of depending on God. Not only that, with the human resource they have developed over a period of time, the traditional denominational churches could also influence political parties and government to bring reservations at academic and job levels. All these attract people towards the denominations without seeking the face of God. In short, now the denominations are led by the satanic worldly systems and procedures that actually prevent people from God’s plan and purposes in their life.
It isn’t my responsibility to judge outsiders, but it certainly is your responsibility to judge those inside the church who are sinning. God will judge those on the outside; but as the Scriptures say, “You must remove the evil person from among you.”
Life through the Holy Spirit
Life through the Holy Spirit is a totally new lifestyle that no one can even think about. No need to study or store anything in mind in advance as the worldly system demands, things to do or perform automatically flows out through the spirit instantaneously as and when needed. For a worldly man, these instant idea or information coming through the spirit may look like a foolish idea.
Spiritual life has nothing to do with the academic knowledge or excellence since it comes from the God who created the whole universe and will be more dominating and powerful in wisdom.
Jesus goes up to the temple courts and begins to teach. The Jews there were amazed and asked, “How did this man get such learning without having been taught?”
When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus
So the very next thing we need to realize is to overcome from the teachings and influences of this world. We need to train our mind and intellect to get information through our spirit from the Spirit of God, by detaching our mind and intellect from this world for a period of time. This is the same as Jesus spending 40 days in the wilderness, disciples of Jesus spending 3.5 years continuously with Jesus, and Paul spending a reasonable amount of time in the wilderness before starting his ministry. During this time there will be a tug of war in our minds between the worldly knowledge that we have received and practised all these years, versus the wisdom that comes from the Holy Spirit directly. Slowly during this waiting time, receiving through Holy Spirit will have dominion over the worldly system in our mind.
Our mind, emotions and intellect actually need this growth to hear and receive from the Holy Spirit and this is known as – The Spiritual Growth.
With this basic idea, if we read Romans chapter 8 repeatedly, the lifestyle through the spirit will be very evident.
Only Jesus could develop this mindset on His own. For disciples, Jesus trained them, and for Paul, God appointed some people in his life. Similarly to develop this mindset to hear and receive from God, someone has to help us and for that God appointed people as follows–
So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ
Man need not study the commandments of God anymore, and we need not try to obey the laws to fulfil the same, the one and only thing we need to do is to train our mind and intellect to listen from the Holy Spirit and move on accordingly.
The life in flesh simply means the life that this world taught from childhood through parents, relatives, religion, society etc. Hence God asked Abraham to come out from all these information sources (go from your country, your people and your father’s household) that may influence Abraham again when he walked in the spirit of God. Likewise, Jesus asked His disciples to be with Him always, so they left everything and followed Jesus. During the time when we learn to hear from God through the spirit, if other information sources are in and around, the growth will not be prominent. But once this channel is opened and starts hearing from the Holy Spirit, and we become expert in receiving through spirit then we can be anywhere. Jesus said to disciples after completing the training as follows –
“If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you
Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” And with that, he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit.
Disciples were living on this earth with their flesh till they met Jesus, but Jesus trained them to live through Holy Spirit, after the training Jesus sent them back to the world – not to live through the flesh again, but to live through the spirit and to teach the same to the people.
This is the same message God is giving us today. Trying to correct the bad deeds of the flesh is vain, but all the denominations teach us to correct the deeds of the flesh to please God. But the word of God very clearly says that we cannot please God through the good deeds. If people could do that, there was no need for the sacrifices through Jesus Christ.
Whatever God gives through our spirit will be perfect and that will be the plan of God at that time for Him to do through us. So the information and instructions coming through the Spirit has to be executed as it is without analyzing with our minds and intellectual.
